Our facilities

reNEW Melbourne stem cell research is supported by in-house state-of-the-art facilities at MCRI that are available to all researchers across reNEW Melbourne and beyond:

  • iPSC Derivation and Gene Editing Facility
Our iPSC Derivation and Gene Editing Facility annually services internal and external researchers across the world.

  • Stem Cell Based Drug Discovery Facility
Our Stem Cell Drug Discovery Facility provides high content screening capacity for 3D organoids, as well as the development of significant expertise in transcriptomics and bioinformatics.

  • Bioinformatics Hub
The Bioinformatics Hub offers end-to-end bioinformatics support to all reNEW labs. Our vision is to work with you from experimental design to publication.

  • Functional Phosphoproteomics Platform
The Platform provides researchers with access to phosphoproteomics data, generated from provided biological materials, to support their analyses. By working closely with groups from study design through to analysis, we aim to ensure the full potential of the global signalling data generated is realised.
